Retain Hair Length to Grow Hair

So, this has been a journey of trial and error. I did not try a lot of store-bought products because of all the preservatives and additives. I started out following the Curly Girl Method, which stressed the issue of using natural products without drying agents and silicones. I also took notice of WEN by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner products. So there must be something to the Hype. So I started washing my hair with conditioners - cheap conditioners like Suave & V05.
What I learned along my journey was to add moisture to hair on the Front End and not the Back End. What that means is that I moisturize when I wash, I moisturize when I deep condition, I moisturize during last rinse, and seal in all of that moisture with SheaFuzion 3-IN-1 Eczema, Skin & Hair Shea Butter Cream.
This process worked for my Wash-N-Go styles as well as for my daughter's wigs, box braids, and weave sew-in styles.
